Unless otherwise advertised, we bill 1/2 of shipping when items are ready to ship.
Waiting to bill for shipping often allows us to save customers expense because when we have multiple orders in the same region, the cost per order drops significantly. Waiting also provides an opportunity for final confirmation of the shipping address, and package contents by the customer.
The shipping process is as follows:
1. Once we have order contents on hand, we solicit bids from our freight partners.
2. We present a shipping invoice to the customer for verification and billing for 1/2 of the freight cost.
3. Once the customer pays their half of freight cost, we coordinate with the freight partner for pick-up and delivery.
